Woven from traditional Royal Stewart style tartan wool, this vintage pleated wrap kilt dates to the 1970s (specifically c. 1973–1979) and features a flat front apron, fringed edge detail, and crisp knife pleating along the sides and back. Manufactured by Borderglen in Scotland, this classic piece includes adjustable dark leather hip straps with silver-tone metal buckles, a inner hidden fastening pin/button system, and an unlined interior. This skirt presents in excellent vintage condition overall, displaying minimal surface wear, tight pleating, and clean fabric throughout. Leather side straps, buckles, and stitching remain secure and fully functional.
