Crafted from rich purple faux suede material, this vintage double-breasted pea coat style jacket features wide notched lapels, two front hip flap pockets, and an accent half-belt back with four gold-tone metal buttons. The front of the coat has to vertical rows of stamped gold tone metal buttons with a collegiate style crest on them. Dating to the very late 1960s to early 1970s, this example includes a full interior lining, decorative coat-of-arms crest gold-tone buttons, subtle white contrast stitching along the lapel trim, and an attached "Professionally Dry Clean Only" care tag. This piece remains in well-preserved vintage condition overall, displaying minor surface wear and soft shading consistent with age and light use. Seams, interior lining, and button attachments appear intact and secure. Dimensions are: 16 in. shoulder width, 18in. pit-to-pit, 22 in. sleeve length, and 29.5 in. overall length.
