Produced by Duplers Furs, this mid 1950s mink fur cape wrap features a rich brown pelt construction arranged in horizontal and vertical panels. The garment incorporates an ornamental front closure comprised of braided passementerie frog fasteners with linked chain accents. Lined in a deep brown satin fabric featuring a printed blue floral motif, the piece includes a stitched cloth label near the upper back seam identifying the maker as "Duplers Furs." Exhibiting light overall wear consistent with age and gentle use, the fur remains soft, supple, and glossy with light edge wear.
