Vintage 1970s Jessica’s Gunnies 2pc Denim Set - S

This vintage 1970s two-piece Western prairie lot by Jessica's Gunnies San Francisco is constructed from sturdy indigo blue cotton denim. This was a junior line under the Gunne Sax label starting in the 70s evoking the cottage and prairie core aesthetic. The coordinating set includes a sleeveless, open-front crop vest with a contoured hemline and a matching high-waisted A-line midi skirt. Both pieces are beautifully accented with country-style red and white polka-dot binding, delicate white eyelet lace trim, and blue floral calico geometric cotton inserts at the vest yoke, skirt waistband, and hemline. The skirt features deep, curved front pockets and fastens down the center with a full placket of embossed copper colored brass Indian head coin buttons. Both pieces retain their original woven "Jessica's Gunnies" satin labels. The set is in excellent vintage condition with strong denim color retention and no visible signs of wear, tearing, or staining. These appear virtually unworn. Vest is open up to bust 36" and high waisted skirt is at 28"
