This vintage late 1970s Christian Dior Lounge Wear maxi-length robe is crafted from a smooth, heavyweight fluid white jersey or tricot fabric. Heavily influenced by traditional Chinoiserie design, the garment features a structured mandarin stand-up collar and an asymmetrical side-front placket secured with fabric-covered dome buttons. The fabric boasts a striking, vibrant graphic print depicting exotic pheasants perched among winding cherry blossom branches, juxtaposed against pink and blue geometric lattice panels. The intricate print details extend fully across the back, accented by a stylized sun motif. Complete with long sleeves and a straight column silhouette, the interior neckline retains the authentic woven "Christian Dior Lounge Wear Paris New York" label, marked size small. There are 2 hidden side pockets at each side of the hip. The garment is in excellent vintage condition with no visible fabric pulls, fading, or staining. Best for a Modern Small with bust up 36", waist upto 36" and hips up to 40".
