Lot 7532 highlights an iconic Colt Single Action Frontier Scout revolver chambered in popular .22LR. This classic single-action rimfire handgun features a 4.75-inch barrel with a bright, shiny bore, paired with a lightweight alloy frame designed to mirror Colt's legendary full-sized revolvers. The grip frame houses original-style grips that currently show noticeable cracking. Preserved in fair overall condition, the frame and outer barrel exhibit plenty of finish wear and some visible rust throughout the metalwork. Colt introduced the Frontier Scout in 1953 during the height of popular television Westerns, allowing shooting enthusiasts to experience authentic wild-west styling in an economical .22 caliber platform. This sought-after piece of American firearms history seems like it needs work to operate, making it an ideal candidate for restoration or custom gunsmithing. Please see photos.
