Spesco Model 151 12ga

Updated August 24, 2026

This Spesco Model 151 break-action shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge and features an approximately 20" barrel with a shiny bore. Serial number 144912, this example is in fair overall condition and displays plenty of visible handling, finish, and age-related wear. The shotgun wears traditional wood furniture with a conventional shoulder stock and forearm, providing the straightforward appearance associated with older utility and field shotguns. Its simple break-action design represents one of the most basic and enduring shotgun configurations, valued historically for ease of operation and relatively uncomplicated construction. Spesco-marked firearms are encountered less frequently than examples from the major American manufacturers, adding some curiosity to this otherwise straightforward utility shotgun. The shorter 20" barrel gives this example compact proportions compared with traditional long-barreled field guns. With its aged wood furniture, visible wear, shiny bore, and simple break-action configuration, this Model 151 offers plenty of old-school character. Please see photos.
