Remington M887 12ga

Updated August 24, 2026

This Remington Model 887 pump-action shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge and features an approximately 25" barrel with a shiny bore. Serial number AAE046780A, this example remains in good overall condition and features an eye-catching camouflage-coated exterior suited to hunting and outdoor use. The shotgun utilizes synthetic furniture with a conventional pistol-grip-style wrist and full buttstock, while a fiber-optic front sight provides a bright and easily acquired sighting point. Remington introduced the Model 887 as a modern pump-action shotgun incorporating its distinctive ArmorLokt exterior coating, which was intended to provide additional protection from the elements. The model represented an interesting departure from the company’s legendary Model 870 while retaining a familiar pump-action operating system. With its camouflage treatment, fiber-optic front sight, shiny bore, and practical 12-gauge chambering, this example presents as an attractive sporting shotgun with distinctive modern Remington styling.
