Taurus Model 605 .357 Mag

Updated August 24, 2026

This Taurus Model 605 double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .357 Magnum and is being offered as a repair or project firearm. Serial number ABC380977, this example features an approximately 2" barrel with a shiny bore and is rated in fair overall cosmetic condition. The revolver features a compact metal frame, exposed hammer, short barrel, and swing-out cylinder, giving it the traditional snub-nose configuration associated with the Model 605 family. The cylinder does not lock properly and the trigger also has issues. The revolver is therefore considered non-operational and needs work before it can safely be used. It should be professionally inspected and repaired before attempting to fire it. The Model 605 has long been one of Taurus’s recognizable compact .357 Magnum revolvers, combining powerful chambering with easily carried dimensions. In its current condition, this example is best suited for a gunsmith, parts buyer, or project-minded collector. Please see photos. Taurus Model 605 .357 Mag DA/SA 2 Shiny ABC380977 Fair
