Updated August 24, 2026

This Remington Model 11-87 Sportsman Field semi-automatic shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge and offers the traditional sporting configuration that made Remington’s gas-operated shotguns favorites among generations of hunters and clay shooters. Serial number CC53262E, this example features an approximately 28" ventilated-rib barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The shotgun wears attractive checkered wood furniture with a traditional pistol-grip stock and matching forearm, beautifully complementing the steel receiver and long sporting barrel. A gold-colored trigger adds a subtle touch of visual distinction. The Model 11-87 was introduced as an evolution of Remington’s highly successful Model 1100, combining gas-operated semi-automatic performance with greater versatility across different shotshell loads. The Sportsman Field configuration emphasizes classic hunting and sporting use. With its checkered wood, 28" ribbed barrel, gold trigger, and timeless Remington styling, this is a handsome traditional autoloading shotgun. Please see photos.
