Ruger 22 Charger .22LR

Updated August 24, 2026

This Ruger 22 Charger semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .22 LR and offers a distinctive compact rimfire platform based on Ruger’s legendary 10/22 action. Serial number 493-04701, this example features an approximately 10" threaded barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The firearm utilizes a compact stock/chassis-style frame with a pistol grip profile and the familiar Ruger rimfire receiver and operating system. One magazine is included. The threaded barrel adds another desirable feature and complements the Charger’s compact, modern configuration. Ruger introduced the Charger as a pistol-format adaptation of the enormously successful 10/22 platform, giving rimfire enthusiasts a dramatically different configuration while retaining the proven rotary-magazine-based action. The result has developed a strong following among Ruger collectors and .22 LR enthusiasts. With its 10" threaded barrel, shiny bore, included magazine, and proven Ruger lineage, this is an appealing and versatile rimfire package. Please see photos.
