This Remington Model 700 Precision bolt-action rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester and is configured as a substantial precision-oriented rifle with several notable features. Serial number D6272165, this example features an approximately 26" heavy barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The rifle is built around the legendary Remington Model 700 steel receiver and bolt-action system and is fitted into an AICS-style or clone chassis/stock, giving it the appearance and ergonomics associated with dedicated precision rifles. A military-style camouflage material has been glued onto portions of the rifle, creating a distinctive field-inspired appearance. Ring-style scope mounts are installed, and a sling is also included. The Model 700 action has served as the foundation for countless hunting, target, military, and law-enforcement precision rifles since its introduction in 1962.
