This Marlin 336W lever-action rifle is chambered in the quintessential American .30-30 Winchester cartridge and offers the traditional woods-rifle configuration that has made the Model 336 a favorite among generations of hunters. Serial number MR49431H, this example features an approximately 20" barrel with a shiny bore and presents in very good overall condition. The rifle wears attractive checkered wood furniture with a traditional pistol-grip stock, complemented by the steel receiver, exposed hammer, and smooth lever-action mechanism characteristic of the Model 336 family. It is equipped with an unbranded 3-9x32mm scope, providing a useful magnification range for typical hunting distances, and a sling is also included. The Marlin 336 traces its lineage to earlier Marlin lever-action designs and became one of the great American deer rifles of the 20th century, with millions produced in popular hunting chamberings.
