"Racing Sundown" by the award-winning cowboy artist Tim Cox Matted and Framed 33 5/8" x 27 5/8" x 3/4" The painting features two cowboys riding alongside each other across a dry, grassy plain. The cowboy on the right prominently wears a vibrant yellow slicker jacket that catches the wind. In the distance, a massive red-rock mesa or canyon wall is bathed in the warm, low light of a setting sun. The top half of the painting is dominated by a majestic, sprawling cloud formation illuminated with glowing shades of golden yellow, orange, and soft pinks. It creates a stark contrast against the deep blue sky. The artwork is professionally showcased in a large, classic oak frame. It uses a sophisticated triple-mat board setup. A brass nameplate is mounted at the bottom center of the matting, stating the piece's title.
