Matted and Framed 33.5" x 27.5" x 3/4" This image shows a beautifully framed and matted western print titled "Whitewater Crossing" by the acclaimed Texas artist Jack Terry. According to the artist, this scene is inspired by a real-life experience. Jack Terry participated in a fall cattle round-up on a friend's ranch near Durango, Colorado. The cowboys packed into a mountain line shack for several days to gather cattle and herd them down into the lower meadows before severe winter weather hit. He painted this piece to capture the exact moment a light snow began to fall as they crossed a rushing mountain stream. The artwork is presented with a professional double-mat design (featuring an outer dark green mat, and a reddish-brown inner border). In a dark wood frame with beveled edges.
