Two glass light shades. (1) Milk glass wall sconce shade in a hooded half round nautilus form, the face worked in concentric raised spirals winding to an off center boss, with three horizontal ribbed bands where the glass thins to near clear and glows through. The neck fitter measures roughly 2 inches outside. The Deco and Moderne styling suggests the 1930s or 1940s, though there is no mark. (2) Blue and clear opalescent shallow cone shade roughly 10 inches across and 3.5 inches deep, with fine radial ribbing, a clear pressed border of alternating triangles over reeding, and a rayed clear center boss drilled for a threaded fixture rod. This is a center hole shade rather than a fitter neck shade. Condition is fair. The milk glass shade has heavy soiling in the grooves, dried paint spots on the face, and flake losses along the fitter rim. The blue cone shade has grime but no chips or cracks. Sold as-is.
