A group of Canadian silver 25 cent coins featuring the King George V obverse. Struck in 0.925 silver, these coins follow the KM 24 type issued between 1912 and 1919. The obverse bears the crowned effigy of George V with the inscription GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: REX ET IND: IMP:. The reverse features the denomination 25 CENTS CANADA and the date within a wreath of maple leaves tied with a ribbon and surmounted by a crown. Each coin features a reeded edge. Recognisable dates in this assortment include 1912, 1917, and 1918.
