A small 800 silver two-handled trophy cup of bulbous form, featuring a wide, flared rim above a neck decorated with horizontal reeded banding. The vessel is flanked by two "S" scroll handles, each with a small spur, and stands upon a circular pedestal foot. The underside of the base is stamped with the mark S & Co within a horizontal oval, and also exhibits a small circular indentation and an illegible worn mark. The interior of the base displays concentric turning marks from the manufacturing process. Height approx. 11.4 cm (measured against a tape measure) 118 g (as shown on digital scale). Condition: The cup exhibits surface wear, minor tarnishing, and small pits consistent with age and use. Visible verdigris oxidation is present on the underside of the foot.
