Neoclassical style table lamp, resembling the work of Chelsea House, designed as a boat-shaped tole urn with a flared rim. The lamp is finished in matte black with gilded decoration, featuring laurel leaf bands and a collar of acanthus leaves. Two cast-metal lion-mask masks with drop-ring handles are fixed to the sides. The urn rests on a pedestal and a stepped, circular base with vertical fluted detailing and a crackled gilded finish. The electrical components include a brass-toned harp and an acorn-shaped cast metal finial. Dimensions: Height approx. 77.5 cm (approx. 30.5 inches) measured to top of finial. Condition: Good vintage condition with some surface dust throughout. Minor paint losses and small nicks are present along the flared rim. The gilded finish on the base shows fine crazing consistent with age. The felt on the underside is slightly loose. The lamp is fitted with a modern cord, but it is recommended that the electrical assembly is inspected by a qualified electrician before use.
