An offset lithographic print on textured wove paper titled Blackbird I, reproduced from an original graphite drawing. The composition features a naturalistic depiction of a songbird perched on a branch with several textured, round seed pods or fruits. The print shows a halftone dot pattern visible under magnification. The work is signed in the plate at the lower right d. m. hedland. It is presented with a double mat featuring a black inner reveal and is housed in a black textured wooden frame under glass. A verso label from Paragon Picture Gallery identifies the item as number 7378 S. Dimensions (measured from tape showing inches): image aperture approx. 5.5 in x 7 in; frame 16 in x 23 in (as stated on verso label). Condition: The print is in good condition with no visible foxing, staining, or moisture damage. The frame and glass are intact with only minor surface wear and light scuffing to the frame edges.
