Original oil painting on canvas depicting a bustling Parisian flower market, signed Coleman lower right. The composition shows elegantly dressed figures among abundant displays of colorful flowers, with horse-drawn transportation, Parisian architecture, and street activity in the background. Executed in a detailed Impressionist-influenced style with lively brushwork and a bright, varied palette. The composition shows a strong influence from French painter Marie-Francois Firmin-Girard's celebrated Paris flower-market scenes, particularly "Le Quai aux Fleurs et l'Hotel de Ville," painted in 1900. Professionally presented in an ornate gilt frame. Good overall condition with light age-appropriate wear; please review photos carefully for condition details. 44" x 32" framed.
