Pair of antique military field binoculars, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Both feature brass construction with leather-wrapped barrels, central focusing mechanisms and glass optics One pair retains dark leather covering with blackened fittings, while the second features brown leather-covered barrels with exposed aged brass fittings. The brown pair is stamped "PARIS" on the eyepiece surround. Good antique condition with age-related wear, losses and deterioration to the leather coverings, oxidation and patina to the metal, and wear/clouding to the optics.
