A pair of vintage glazed ceramic cookie jars by Fitz and Floyd. The first jar, dated 1990, features an anthropomorphic rabbit in a seated position wearing a pink ruffled dress and a blue and white checkered apron. The figure holds a fanand a basket of molded flowers and wears a wide-brimmed straw hat lid with a blue ribbon. The second jar, dated 1991, depicts an anthropomorphic squirrel with a large curled tail wearing a white bib with blue trim. The figure wears anoversized straw hat lid decorated with a red bow, grapes, and berries. Both pieces feature incised marks on the underside of the base including the copyright symbol followed by FF and the respective production year.Both jars appear to be in good overall condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs visible. Minor shelf wear and surface soiling are present on the unglazed bottom rims.
