This lot consists of two distinct ceramic pieces. The first is a large yellowware mixing bowl by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. of Roseville, Ohio. The bowl features a heavy, flared rim decorated with an embossed repeating arch pattern.The exterior body displays a wide band of molded geometric motifs including sunbursts and diamond shapes. Encircling the midsection are three horizontal mocha-brown slip bands consisting of a wide center band flanked by two thinner bands.The bowl is finished in a uniform yellow glaze. The second piece is a shallow rounded serving bowl with a thick rolled rim produced by Roseville. The vessel is decorated with an allover green sponge-applied pattern on a cream-coloredceramic ground.The yellowware mixing bowl exhibits fine age-related glaze crazing throughout. There are several small nicks and chips located along the outer edge of the upper rim. The interior shows minor dark spotting and pitting consistent with age and domestic
