This original work by David Ramirez Nunta, known as "Inin Soi", is a striking example of contemporary Shipibo-Konibo art from Ucayali, Peru. Titled Ayahuasca, the composition is deeply rooted in Amazonian spirituality and presents a visionary image centered on the sacred medicine that has long guided healing, knowledge, and artistic expression within Indigenous tradition. According to the artist, the work is painted with the sacred liquid of ayahuasca, the ancestral medicine through which visions are revealed and through which one may seek healing, clarity, and connection to the past, present, and future. The central figure, surrounded by symbolic flora, celestial elements, and powerful animal presences such as the jaguar, owl, and hummingbirds, evokes a world of spiritual protection, wisdom, and inner transformation. The geometric patterning further reflects the visual language associated with Shipibo-Konibo cosmology and visionary knowledge. Elegant, symbolic, and culturally resonant, this work is both a compelling collector's piece and a strong decorative statement. It is ideal for collectors seeking authentic Amazonian art that embodies spirituality, ancestral knowledge, and the living traditions of the Peruvian rainforest.
