Shipibo-Konibo) Spiritual Healing Master Shipibo-Konibo Acrylic Painting. This monumental and visionary composition titled Spiritual Healing is a completely original acrylic painting on canvas by Shipibo-Konibo artist Luzmila Zea Chavez, known artistically as Metsa Luz. Through brilliant color, sacred geometry, medicinal plants, birds, flowers, and an imposing female presence, the work presents spiritual healing as a journey toward balance between the mind, body, heart, and ancestral world. At the center of the composition, a woman sits in a meditative position surrounded by an immense teardrop-shaped field of luminous kene. Her body appears transformed into a cosmic landscape filled with subtle stars and celestial tones, suggesting that healing occurs not only physically but also through an inner connection with the universe, memory, and spirit. According to the artist, spiritual healing begins under the guidance of a wise Shipibo-Konibo woman who transmits ancestral knowledge through the medicinal plants ayahuasca and chacruna. Traditionally combined within Amazonian plant knowledge, these elements are represented here as pathways toward vision, concentration, and the union of mind, spirit, and heart. The large botanical form positioned above the woman may be understood as a symbolic gateway into the visionary and medicinal world. Surrounding leaves and flowering vines reinforce the intimate relationship between human beings and nature, while the abundant blossoms introduce themes of regeneration, prosperity, beauty, and renewed life. Two immense feline eyes emerge from the upper portion of the painting, evoking the spiritual presence of the jaguar. Within the artist's interpretation, the jaguar accompanies and strengthens the individual during spiritual struggle, embodying courage, protection, instinct, and the power required to confront trauma and personal transformation. Numerous hummingbirds move through the vegetation and flowers. The artist associates the hummingbird with the arrival of a visitor or an important message. Their rapid movement and radiant plumage enliven the composition, suggesting communication between visible and invisible realms as well as the possibility of hope, guidance, and new beginnings. The elaborate geometric bands surrounding the central figure incorporate maya kene, described by the artist as expressing the union of rivers and forest. These flowing systems of lines create a protective enclosure around the woman, visually joining medicinal knowledge, water, vegetation, and spiritual consciousness. The kene is not merely decorative ornament but an essential artistic language of the Shipibo-Konibo people, expressing their worldview, knowledge, and aesthetic traditions. In 2008, the Peruvian state declared the Shipibo-Konibo kene design system part of the nation's Cultural Heritage. Executed in an intense palette of violet, pink, green, yellow,
