Henri Matisse (French, 1869-1954) A minimalist ink drawing on paper featuring the fluid, expressive contours of a woman's face and cascading hair. The composition utilizes spare black linework against a neutral ground to capture a sense of serene introspection and elegant form. Signed "H. Matisse" in the lower right. Framed.
