This exceptional <b>Shipibo-Konibo serving bowl</b> is an original hand-crafted ceramic work by renowned Peruvian master artisan <b>Adela Panduro Silvano</b>. Individually formed and decorated by hand, the vessel combines a balanced rounded profile with the intricate geometric imagery characteristic of the ancestral ceramic traditions of the Peruvian Amazon. The exterior is encircled by an elaborate band of <b>kene</b> designs composed of interlocking linear, stepped, and labyrinth-like patterns. Executed in cream, black, reddish brown, and warm earth tones, the decoration creates a continuous rhythmic composition around the body of the vessel. Broad dark borders frame the central design, while the warm terracotta-colored interior provides an attractive visual contrast. Within Shipibo-Konibo artistic culture, <b>kene</b> is a highly developed visual language associated with identity, harmony, spirituality, and the relationship between human beings and the natural world. Because the patterns are drawn and painted individually by hand, each ceramic work possesses variations that make it entirely unique. Her work preserves ancestral methods of hand-forming, surface finishing, painting, and firing ceramics while presenting the intricate <b>kene</b> designs for which Shipibo-Konibo visual culture is internationally recognized.
