Bob Kane (American, 1915-1998) An ink and mixed media drawing on paper depicting the iconic "Dynamic Duo," Batman and Robin, in a classic action pose. The composition features bold black outlines with vibrant pops of yellow and red gouache, set against the grey and black tones of the Bat-suit. Signed "Bob Kane" in the lower right. Framed. Bob Kane was an American comic book artist and writer, widely recognized as the creator of the DC Comics superhero Batman. Working with writer Bill Finger, he established the character's dark, gothic-inspired identity which debuted in 1939. His contribution to the medium helped launch the superhero genre into a global phenomenon, securing his place as a foundational figure in comic history.
