Assortment Antique Effanbee & Trios Toy Co Dolls

Updated August 22, 2026

An assortment of antique doll components and restoration materials. The group features a composition doll head marked EFFANBEE Toy Co on the reverse of the neck, featuring molded hair and blue sleep eyes, paired with a separate straw-stuffed cloth body with composition boots. A Trios Toy Co musical twin doll toy is included, featuring two dolls in a lace-trimmed carrier on a wooden base; the mechanism is designed to turn the heads and play music when the box is pressed. The collection also contains an unmarked composition head with molded blonde hair and greenish-grey eyes. A variety of replacement parts are present, including glass sleep-eye mechanisms with lead weights, loose glass eyes in labeled Merritt's Antiques bags, and several bisque and porcelain limbs. Composition head: 5.5 inches. These items show mostly expected wear due to their age and use. Composition surfaces exhibit characteristic crazing and minor finish losses consistent with period materials, providing excellent components for restoration.
