Seller: Baylee Taylor Group Affiliation: Pleasant Valley FFA Species: Rabbit Hi, my name is Baylee Taylor. I am 17 years old and a senior at Pleasant Valley High School. I will be showing market rabbits at the 2026 Butte County Fair. I have been a part of FFA for the last 4 years and have served as the Vice-President. This year I have the amazing opportunity to serve as PV’s FFA President. Along with FFA, I am beginning my 10th year in 4H. Both FFA and 4H have brought me so much joy and taught me so many new things that I am forever grateful for. I have shown at Silver Dollar for the past 5 years through 4H. This is my second year showing at the Butte County Fair My rabbits are black New Zealand’s. They are excellent bunnies with great personalities. What makes them truly special is that we were able to breed them. So, I have been able to watch them grow since birth. It has been an amazing experience being able to watch them develop into the amazing looking rabbits they are. Their diet consists of Bar ALE rabbit feed which has 16% protein. They are also fed calf mana, sunflower seeds, and oats to help them gain weight. With Chico temperatures hitting triple digits multiple times this summer it has been very important to keep them cool. I go out multiple times a day to replace their ice bottles and make sure they constantly have water. Thank you for believing in and supporting agriculture here in Butte County. It means a lot to know people care about giving students like me the chance to learn, grow, and be part of something we are passionate about. When you purchase our agricultural projects. You are not just buying an animal or product you are investing in the growth of young people and helping to keep our local community strong and connected.
