Seller: Celeste Cardenas Group Affiliation: Las Plumas FFA Species: Swine My name is Celeste Cardenas. I am 15 years old and will be starting my sophomore year at Las Plumas High School this fall. This year, I have worked hard raising my market pig for the Butte County Fair. Taking care of my pig Wilbur, has taught me a lot more about responsibility, commitment, and the amount of work that goes into raising an animal. I have spent many hours feeding, caring for, walking, and working with my pig to prepare for the fair. I would greatly appreciate your support at this year’s livestock auction. The money I earn from selling my pig will be saved toward buying my first car and helping pay for my future education. These are both important goals for me, and your support would help me get closer to achieving them.
