Seller: Alexa Cardenas Group Affiliation: Independent Species: Swine Dear Potential Buyer My name is Alexa Cardenas. I am 11 years old and will be starting middle school at Ishi Hills Middle School this fall. This year, I am participating in the Butte County Fair as an independent exhibitor with my market pig. Ursula. Showing a pig wasn't what I originally planned to do this year, but Ursula gave me the opportunity to try something new. Taking care of her has taught me about responsibility, patience, and the work that goes into raising a livestock animal, I have enjoyed watching her grow and getting to know her personality along the way. I am excited to take Ursula to the fair and experience showing a market animal for the first time. This project has encouraged me to continue learning about livestock, and I hope to take on new animal projects in the future. I would greatly appreciate your support at this year's livestock auction. The money I earn from selling Ursula will be saved for my future and to help with future livestock projects.
