Created in the style of traditional Mughal or Rajput miniature paintings, featuring elaborate clothing, floral borders and rich red, gold, green and blue colors. Presented beneath a clear acrylic sheet in a narrow gold-tone metal frame. Measures approximately 37" x 47” overall. Original rear label identifies the manufacturer as Academy Arts, a division of Intercraft Industries Corp., Chicago, style No. 8766. Likely produced during the 1970s. Shows age-related surface haze, scattered marks, light image wear and scratches or wear to the acrylic and frame. The original protective film may possibly remain on the acrylic. Please examine photographs carefully. Possible Artist No individual artist is identified. This appears to be an Academy Arts decorative reproduction inspired by an unidentified Indian Mughal or Rajput miniature painting—not an original painting by a known listed artist.
