E.G. Chalkley (1871-1939) Richmond, VA 5.25" long Chalkley's calls represent some of the earliest east coast calls. Chalkley who always considered his call making business more of a hobby, was best known for his crow and turkey calls and sold almost entirely through word of mouth. This duck call, as of now, is the only duck call example known to exist and its paper label is in excellent condition considering its nearly 100 year old age. Single reed design with the original paper label wrapped around the barrel. Condition: Excellent and original with minimal discoloration to the label
