Charles Harris "C.H." Ditto (1864-1935) Keithsburg, IL c.1900-1935 4.75" long Among Ditto's best known models were his Eureka calls, produced from the turn of the century to nearly the end of his life. The call comes with the original parts, including the original "CH Ditto" marked insert. Charles Ditto was one of the most accomplished and influential figures in early American sporting history. A farmer, game warden, market hunter, waterfowl guide, hunting camp manager, and champion trap shooter, Ditto also established himself as a successful entrepreneur. He was awarded several patents related to waterfowl decoy devices before turning his attention to game call manufacturing. Drawing inspiration from the work of his friend F.A. Allen, Ditto developed a line of calls that earned a reputation for both quality and effectiveness. Ditto's calls achieved nationwide recognition, appearing in numerous hardware and sporting goods catalogs across the country.
