1922-D Lincoln Cent certified by PCGS as Genuine – Weak D. The famous 1922 "Weak D" variety was created when a worn die from the Denver Mint produced coins with a faint or partially visible mintmark, making it one of the most sought-after issues in the Lincoln Cent series. Since no Lincoln Cents were struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1922, any genuine 1922 cent originated in Denver, adding to the significance of this variety. A key date with an interesting minting history, this certified example is an excellent addition to any Lincoln Cent collection.
