Colorful collection of vintage Christmas lighting and holiday decorations, including two boxed strings of molded figural “X’mas Lamps”/“Christmas Lamps” with original illustrated Santa Claus boxes, together with a large assortment of loose screw-base figural Christmas bulbs and a small Santa sleigh decoration. The boxed strings contain elongated molded bulbs in pink, white, blue, yellow and green tones, many decorated with floral, star and novelty motifs and retaining their green wiring and compartmented cardboard inserts. The loose bulbs offer an especially appealing variety of molded forms, including multiple Santa Claus heads, human and character figures, houses, flowers, birds and other novelty shapes, with painted details in predominantly pink, white and red. Vintage figural Christmas bulbs of this general type are collectible individually as well as in groups, particularly when unusual molded forms and original packaging survive. Also included is a small period Santa figure seated in a blue cardboard sleigh with sack, chain and textile detailing. Condition is varied and consistent with age and storage, with paint loss, soiling, discoloration, crazing, surface wear and oxidation to some bulb bases; boxes show substantial edge wear, crushing, tears, staining and old label loss, and the sleigh decoration has considerable deterioration and losses to its paper, fabric and composition elements. Electrical components and individual bulbs have not been tested and functionality is not guaranteed. boxes measure 13"H x 8"D to 17"W x 7.5"D.
