This handsome Georgian-style mahogany table features a rectangular top enclosed by an elegant pierced brass gallery and retains its original pull-out slide with a faux black marble decorated surface, traditionally intended to support a wash basin or serving accessories. A single long drawer fitted with brass ring pulls provides convenient storage above a lower shelf joined by shaped stretchers, creating a balanced and functional design suitable for use as a side table, nightstand, or accent piece. The warm mahogany finish displays an attractive aged patina that complements the classic brass gallery. It remains in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear including scattered surface scratches, small finish losses, a missing escutcheon on tray that pills out, and wear to the faux marble pull-out surface consistent with years of use.
