This substantial vintage leaded stained glass lamp shade features a broad domed profile crafted from hand-cut art glass in variegated shades of aqua, turquoise, sea green, lavender, smoky gray, and opalescent white. A bold emerald green geometric band encircles the lower body, while an elegant repeating floral border in lavender and blue tones decorates the rim, creating an appealing Art Nouveau-inspired design. The richly mottled glass produces a beautiful play of color when illuminated, and the shade’s substantial leaded construction gives it excellent presence and quality. The shade retains its original internal spider fitter and hanging hardware, however chain is broken and rim has damage at top. Is working but bulb socket is loose. Condition is consistent with age and use, exhibiting light oxidation to the lead cames and minor wear to the metal fitter. Has 5 cracked panel, no missing glass, or repairs are visible in the provided photographs. Measures 9.5"H x 20"W.
