Late 19th-century Renaissance Revival library or center table crafted in dark-finished walnut, featuring a rectangular top above a deep molded apron accented with carved floral rosettes and recessed panels. The substantial architectural base is supported by four carved and fluted legs with bold acanthus-leaf decoration, joined by an ornate pierced stretcher incorporating circular and scrolling motifs. Displays a handsome aged surface with scattered scratches, finish wear, abrasions, and minor losses consistent with age and use, particularly along the top, apron, and carved extremities, while retaining a strong and visually impressive overall presentation. Measures 37.5"H x 42"W x 18"D.
