A handsome late 19th-century white ironstone wash set comprising a generously proportioned pitcher and coordinating circular basin, both finished in a clean glossy white glaze. The pitcher features a full rounded body with subtle molded ribbing, a flared scalloped rim, elongated pouring spout, and an ornate scrolling handle with molded foliate accents, while the broad basin is formed with a gently raised and molded rim. The understated monochromatic design emphasizes the graceful Victorian form and makes the set equally suitable for traditional display or farmhouse-inspired décor. The pitcher shows an old stabilized crack or repair across the underside of the base, and both pieces display minor surface wear, light scratches, scattered staining, and typical manufacturing irregularities consistent with age. Pitcher measures 12"H x 8"W x 8"D and bowl is 4"H x 15.5"W.
