Original hand-painted impasto oil on canvas by contemporary artist Amber Close, titled Country Garden Path. Executed in the artist’s signature heavily textured palette-knife technique, the composition depicts a vibrant cottage garden overflowing with colorful blossoms bordered by a rustic white split-rail fence, beyond which stands a row of mature trees beneath a brilliant blue sky. Thick, expressive applications of paint create exceptional depth and sculptural texture, lending the work a lively Post-Impressionist aesthetic reminiscent of Van Gogh-inspired contemporary landscapes. Signed “Amber Close” lower center and housed in a complementary painted wood frame with a rose-colored liner.
