Gift of Innocence Porc: Clown, Doll & Cherub

This collection is headlined by a limited edition A Gift of Innocence series Clown Mr. doll, produced in 1991 by HC. The doll is constructed with a bisque porcelain head, hands, and feet on a stuffed fabric body. It features stationaryblue inset eyes and a wispy blonde synthetic wig. The doll is dressed in its original two-tone blue and white satin-finish harlequin costume, complete with a tiered ruffled collar, matching hat, and five blue pom-poms. The back of the neckis marked A Gift of Innocence, 1991 HC, and is hand-numbered 0084 B. Accompanying the doll is a matte bisque porcelain compote bowl supported by three winged putti. The bowl features relief-molded grapes and vines with hand-painted goldaccents throughout. The base of the compote bears the gold script signature Sylvia. The group is completed by a decorative porcelain egg featuring a large pink rose transfer motif surrounded by delicate blue and white floral sprays.
