Irish Dresden & Muller-Volkstedt Lace Figurines

Two porcelain figurines featuring hand-painted details and delicate porcelain-dipped Dresden lace decoration. The larger figurine is identified as Lolita from the Irish Dresden Sunshine Collection. The figure is depicted wearing a paleyellow bodice and an elaborate tiered white lace gown accented with gold-trimmed floral bows, holding a small bird in her left hand. The underside bears a blue factory mark with a crown and heart-shaped shield above the text Irish Dresden,Lolita, Sunshine Collection, and Ireland. The smaller figurine depicts a ballerina in a dancing pose wearing a red bodice and a full pink lace-trimmed skirt. The base of the ballerina figure features a blue Müller-Volkstedt mark consistingof a crown over a shield containing the letters MV. Tallest measuring at 5 inches.These figurines exhibit mostly expected wear to the delicate porcelain lace commensurate with age. There are some visible losses to the lace ruffles and trim, though the porcelain figures and painted features remain well-preserved for display.
