This lot features a Wallendorf porcelain figurine of a seated lady in an eighteenth-century style tiered ruffle gown. The figure is depicted looking into a hand mirror while holding a small applicator. The piece is decorated in polychromeglazes with matte bisque skin tones, pale green accents, and gilt highlights on the shoes and base. The underside is marked with a blue underglaze crown above W, .1764, GERMANY, and 71, with an impressed model number 1595/1. Accompanied bya Lladro porcelain Dress Rehearsal ballerina group, model number 5497, depicting two dancers in tutus with delicate porcelain lace edging. The group is rendered in a muted palette of soft blues, grays, and tans. The base is marked with theblue Lladro bellflower stamp, Hand Made in Spain, and DAISA copyright marks. Tallest measures 7.5 inches.These figurines show expected wear consistent with age. Both pieces are in overall good condition with delicate fingers and limbs preserved. There is typical minor loss to the fine points of the porcelain lace ruffles.
