Orrefors Swedish clear art glass vase designed by Lars Hellsten. This heavy lead crystal vessel features an organic form with a six-lobed undulating rim and thick-walled construction. The body is decorated with internal vertical opticribbing that creates a rippling light effect throughout the piece. The vase tapers to a solid circular base with a flat-ground and polished underside. The base is hand-incised with the maker signature Orrefors and the alphanumeric code LH1588. 8.5 inches tall.This piece is in good condition with minor shelf wear to the underside of the base as expected for its age.
