Cydney Grossman "Garden Clown" Art Print. A surrealist mid-century lithographic art print titled "The Vegetable Clown" (or "Garden Clown") by acclaimed 20th-century American illustrator Cydney Grossman. This imaginative portrait depicts a smiling circus clown whose features and accessories are composed entirely of fresh garden produce. A cluster of green scallions serves as his hair toupee, while two bright orange carrots outline his dramatic eyebrows. A large red tomato creates his bulbous nose, and his oversized ruff collar is intricately styled from ears of corn, a bell pepper, a cucumber, an onion, and decorative leafy foliage. The piece features the artist’s characteristic cursive copyright signature "Cydney" in the lower-right corner and is presented on a dark gray backing board.
