This expressionistic study of a female nude is executed in a combination of watercolor and gouache on paper. The artist employs fluid brushwork and a varied palette of warm earth tones contrasted with vibrant blue and green highlights. A verso tag bears the handwritten inscription Seminole Sisters # 183. The work is housed in a modern wooden frame under glass with a neutral mat.Frame: 17 x 21 in.The work and matting exhibit slight toning consistent with age. Minor scuffs and handling wear are visible on the frame edges and verso backing paper.
