Signed and numbered limited edition print by celebrated Western artist Conrad Schwiering (1916-1986), depicting a dramatic view of Wyoming's Teton Range with autumn cottonwoods, a winding ranch road, split-rail fencing, and towering snow-capped peaks. Numbered 148/500 in pencil and hand signed by the artist in the lower margin. Housed in a professionally matted and framed presentation measuring approximately 31.5" 27.5". Conrad "Connie" Schwiering is regarded as one of the premier painters of the American West and one of the most recognizable artists associated with Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. After establishing his gallery in Jackson in 1947, he spent decades painting the Tetons in every season and under changing light conditions, producing hundreds of landscapes that helped define the visual identity of northwestern Wyoming. His work was honored with a one-man exhibition at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, he appeared in the PBS series Profiles in American Art, and one of his Grand Teton paintings was later donated to Grand Teton National Park for its permanent collection. Unlike modern offset reproductions, Schwiering's limited editions were produced in relatively small numbered editions and remain popular with collectors of Western and Wyoming art. Comparable signed, numbered Schwiering limited-edition lithographs continue to be actively marketed through established fine art dealers, reflecting sustained collector demand for his Grand Teton imagery. An outstanding Wyoming landscape by one of the state's most influential twentieth-century artists, offering strong decorative appeal and broad collector interest.
